Ball has tidied up the main dial and also updated the minute track. You’ll note larger sword-shaped hands and accent colors too. Technical changes include even bolder micro gas tubes on the dial and a new inner diving and city ring, both controlled by an external bezel. On the inner ring you’ll find indicators for twenty-four global cities as well as diving graduations. When diving, the wearer simply turns the bezel to begin tracking elapsed time under water. Also, while previous models utilized an additional crown at 2 o’clock, the new model features only one screwed-in crown for setting the time, day and date. The watch, a limited edition of 1,000 pieces worldwide, is among the very few watches available that combine a world time module with day and date windows. All are powered by the automatic Ball RR1501-C, a COSC-certified chronometer. SPRING 2020 | INTERNATIONAL WATCH | 43
