ROADMASTER MARINE GMT
This 40mm steel watch features Ball’s own
GMT module, which differs from those found in
most other sport GMT watches. The Ball version
allows for three time zones to be tracked simul-
taneously via the use of the two pushers. The
pusher at 8 o’clock moves the GMT hand back-
ward, while the 10 o’clock button moves it
forward. In conjunction, the main three hands
reveal local time with the bi-directional bezel
showing home time. The entire movement has
received COSC certification.
On this new model, the illumination tubes
are integrated into the dial at each hour marker,
at the primary hour hand, the seconds hand
and the GMT hand. The idea, according to
Ball Watch, is to make the three time zones
completely visible in darkness. The wearer need
only take a look at the hands, markers and the
ceramic bezel’s Super-LumiNova coating.
