JAEGER-LECOULTRE
Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon, pink gold
Possibly overshadowed at SIHH by an
impressive set of blue enamel-dialed Master
Ultra-Thin models, this new Master Ultra Thin
Tourbillon represents the newest generation
of this sophisticated dress watch collection.
Jaeger-LeCoultre updates the dial and frames
it in a new pink gold case, which remains 40mm
in diameter.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra-Thin
Tourbillon, like the also-new Master Ultra Thin
Date, retains the Master collection’s round case,
strong hour-markers and Dauphine hands.
This new model, however, offers slightly larger
hour markers than we’ve seen previously. The
one-minute tourbillon itself features a new gold
bridge across its generously fairly aperture, the
latter allowing the wearer to enjoy an enhanced
view into the open space and gearing within
the regulator.
That regulator, a tourbillon with a titanium
carriage, is the excellent Jaeger-LeCoultre
Caliber 978G, also visible from the back of the
watch. The back view offers a clear look at the
caliber’s new sunray finish. Balancing the pink
gold case and eggshell dial is a brown alligator
leather strap. Price: $70,500.
