SIHH 2018 1. 1. The new 42mm Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Chronograph is the only new Polaris available in a precious metal, specifically rose gold, with an anthracite dial and an oscillating weight also in rose gold. 2. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Automatic introduces the collection and features the well- known dual crown Memovox architecture. One crown is for time setting and the other is for the inner rotating bezel. 3. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Chronograph WT offers an in-house chronograph and the useful world time complication. It features two chronograph pushers, an additional crown at 10 o’clock (to control the rotating city disc). At 44mm (titanium) it’s the largest of the new Polaris collection. The size is meant to make reading the time in 23 other cities a bit more legible. 4. Issued in a limited edition of 1,000 pieces, the Polaris Memovox features the special alarm function made famous by the 1968 Memovox. This 50th anniversary timepiece retains the original three-crown design: one for setting the alarm (top), one for the inner rotating bezel (middle) and one for setting the time (bottom). Inside, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 956 features the striking mechanism with a gong, along with the central seconds and instant-jump date-change system. This caliber is a direct descendant of the first auto- matic alarm watch movement created by Jaeger-LeCoultre in the 1950s. 2. 3. 4. SPRING 2018 | INTERNATIONAL WATCH | 105
