IN ADDITION TO THE TWO NEW COMPLICATED MODELS shown prior to January (the Skel-
eton Mysterious Double Tourbillon timepiece and the Mysterious Day & Night) Cartier in 2018
focuses on its Santos collection, expands its Panthère with several spectacular models like the Reve-
lation, and adds steel and yellow gold models to the critically acclaimed Drive Extra Flat collection.
And from the Cartier Watch Creation Studio in Paris, Cartier reconstructs the famed Crash watch
as one of five jeweled timepieces. On the new Crash (right), the dial is crushed, the Roman numerals
are stretched and there is a shockwave in the center. The yellow gold watch is manually wound and
will be made as a limited edition of 50 pieces. The other limited editions, individually numbered
jewelry watches set for 2018 include Baignoire Débordante, Baignoire Infinie, Baignoire Etoilée and
Baignoire Interdite.
