IN ADDITION TO THE 150 YEAR JUBILEE COLLECTION WE SHOWED YOU IN OUR PREVIOUS ISSUE( within the Portugieser and DaVinci collections, as well as the Tribute to Pallweber 150 Years Edition wristwatch) IWC unveiled the remainder of its celebratory collection at SIHH 2018. Below are the Jubilee 150 Years editions from the firm’ s Pilot’ s, Big Pilot’ s and Portofino collections, as well as a look at IWC Tribute to Pallweber Edition“ 150 Years” pocket watch.
PILOT’ S WATCHES
IWC is adding three models to its Pilot’ s Watch line in its anniversary year. All three models are cased in steel and feature the design of the Jubilee collection, which means each is fitted with either a white lacquered dial and blued hands or a blue lacquered dial with rhodium-plated hands, and all are finished with black alligator leather straps. Each model also bears the Anniversary inscription“ 150 Years” either as a medallion or as an engraving and is fitted with white or blue lacquered dials and 150th anniversary insignia on the caseback.
The 46.2mm Big Pilot’ s Watch Annual Calendar Edition 150 Years( Ref. IW502708) is the only model in the collection with an annual calendar.
Production is limited to 100 watches. The 46.2mm Big Pilot’ s Watch Big Date Edition 150 Years( Ref. 5105) is the first Big Pilot’ s Watch from IWC with a date display featuring large numerals beneath the triangular index at 12 o’ clock. Two limited-edition models are available, each restricted to 100 watches. Finally, the Pilot’ s Watch Chronograph Edition 150 Years( Ref. IW377725) is limited to 1,000 43mm watches. Prices start at $ 5,150 for the chronograph and rise to $ 19,700 for the Annual Calendar model.

IWC ADDS THREE NEW PORTOFINO MODELS TO ITS ANNIVERSARY YEAR COLLECTION.
The Portofino Hand Wound Moon Phase Edition 150 Years( Ref. 5164) combines a classic Portofino Hound-Wound Eight Days with a moon phase display. A total of 150 watches are available in red gold and 350 in stainless steel:
The first version is the only gold watch in the Jubilee collection with a blue dial. The hands, as well as the moon and stars in the moon phase display, have been gold-plated to match. The moon and stars are rhodium-plated on the models with a stainless steel case.
