Debut of the Regulator à Tourbillon, the first minute-repeater
tourbillon with a regulator dial and a cantilevered tourbillon cage.
The 2001 Chronoscope was the
first automatic chronograph
with Regulator-dial.
2006
Debut of the Grand Regulator, Timemaster Chronograph Date and
Perpetual Calendar. Diners Club Magazine confers its "Visionary of
the Year" award on Gerd-R. Lang. Move into Bavaria's first wristwatch
factory in December.
2007
The Chronoscope wins first place at Ebner’s Golden Balance awards
setting a pace for many future awards in this competition.
2010
The Opus wins 2nd place at the jury´s and visitors´ choice of the
Munichtime watch fair.
2012
The Swiss entrepreneurial family Ebstein acquired the assets of
Chronoswiss from founder Gerd-Rüdiger Lang. Oliver Ebstein is
new CEO.
2001
Premiere of the Chronoscope, the first automatic chronograph with
regulator-dial.
2002
Chronoswiss establishes a subsidiary in Switzerland. The Chronosa
subsidiary located in Niedau close to Biel is responsible for
production and logistics.
2003
Répetition à Quarts, a quarter repeater, debuts at Baselworld. Natalie
Lang named Junior President after completing her apprenticeship
as a watchmaker in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. The Chronoscope is
awarded 1st place Watch of the Year 2003 by Armbanduhren.
2004
Regulator à Tourbillon Squelette debuts. It’s the first skeleton and
hand-engraved tourbillon with regulator dial and a limited edition in
200 pieces.
The 2013 Chronoswiss Regulator 24 celebrated the
Chronoswiss 25th anniversary. It’s a manual wristwatch
with jumping hour, digital minute and digital hour.
2013
Chronoswiss celebrates its thirtieth anniversary and creates the
Régulateur 30. The brand opens a workshop in Lucerne.
2014
Chronoswiss opens its doors in summer for tours. Visitors have the
opportunity to observe the watchmakers at work.
2018
Chronoswiss celebrates 35 years and 30 years of its Regulator with
special limited editions.
2005
Digiteur (limited edition) and Perpetual Calendar debut. Construction
begins on a new production facility, in Munich.
