JAQUET DROZ’ S WELL-KNOWN Grande Seconde is set with a rich mother-of-pearl dial, set off by a river of diamonds and a red gold case. At noon is the tourbillon, itself enhanced with a silicon balance-spring and pallet horns( a first for Jaquet Droz). This is an 88-piece limited series.

ASTRONOMIA SOLAR
ONE OF THE MOST dramatic pieces seen at baselworld, the 44.5mm Astronomia Solar features the planets of our solar system: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune( but no Pluto) all within a 44.5mm case. The hand-engraved globe of the Earth rotates about its own axis once every 60 seconds and completes one full revolution of the dial in 10 minutes, as part of an assembly that also houses the subsidiary hour and minute dial and a one-minute flying tourbillon.
