SLY STALLONE VISITS
WEMPE IN NYC
O CELEBRATE THE LAUNCH OF THE FINAL INSTALLMENT OF
“RAMBO,” Sylvester Stallone in September treated himself to a
Wempe Zeitmeister Chronograph Ceramic Camouflage, an
“unassuming, yet highly sought after watch that he had been patiently
waiting for.” Stallone purchased the watch from Wempe Jewelers on Fifth
Avenue in New York, where he has been a long-time client and just a few
blocks away from the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood where he grew up.
Wempe offers three versions of the 44mm black matte ceramic
Zeitmeister Chronograph Ceramic, each made in a limited edition of fifty.
Inside is ETA Caliber Valjoux 7753 automatic chronograph movement.
One features a camouflage dial and strap. A second and third model offer
a black dial with a choice of black or green strap. On the screw-down
caseback you’ll find a high-relief engraving of the observatory in
Glashütte. Each watch is priced at $4,160.
