BOUTIQUE PARMIGIANI FLEURIER Custom Bugatti 390 For a company so steeped in classical high watch making traditions, Parmigiani’s Bugatti series proves it’s not all old-school in the Val de Travers. Although the series is a complete non-sequitur when compared to the rest of the Parmigiani’s line, the deeper codes of horological mechanics lie within the ultra-modern layout. This watch simultaneously flouts convention with its modern case and horizontal cylindrical move- ment, while it highlights it with a one-minute tourbillon regulator and dual sequential mainspring barrels. Although the PB coachworks (case) and dashboard (dial) can be customized to an individual’s taste, Parmi- giani has created a new super racy variation based on the new Bugatti Chiron released at the 2018 Geneva Auto Show. To commemorate this model Parmigiani adopts the car’s color codes with the same opposing colors; a white gold case is paired with black carbon fiber elements to interpret the Chiron’s coachworks and gives the watch a streamlined look. The black nickel dial flange is contrasted by the red lumines- cent numerals and hands. A red Alcantara strap with contrasting black stitching continues the connection to the Chiron’s own garb.
