LIMITED EDITION TRANSPARENT TOURBILLON
CVSTOS ( pronounced koostose ) bares all in this transparent tourbillon timepiece . Inside the almost scratch-proof aluminum oxide case ( more commonly known as sapphire ) beats a flying tourbillon with nowhere to hide .
Visible from almost any angle , the movement is manually wound and does away with the visual interference that a winding rotor can cause , allowing an unhindered view of the bridges and gear train of the superbly finished CVSTOS caliber CVS6002C movement .
Gold bridges feature inset elements that highlight the finesse of creating textured recesses framed by high-polished ridges . Overall , the bridges exude a warm inner effect in rose gold with blood-red ruby bearings in contrast to the ice cool look of the steel gear train and clear sapphire chassis .
Three variations of this masterwork are available – each in a limited edition of five pieces .
THE ESSENTIALS
CASE The Challenge II case is crafted in clear sapphire and measures 41mm at the waist ( not including the crown ) and 53.7mm from lug to lug . Top and bottom both have sapphire crystals , with the top one enhanced with antireflective coating . The crown is 5N rose gold with a rubber gripping and design element , and the screws are a CVSTOS-custom-head design in grade-five titanium .
MOVEMENT CVSTOS Calibre CVS2600C skeletonized manual-wind flying tourbillon with hours , minutes , and seconds displays . 21 jewels , beat frequency of 18,000 VPH and a power reserve of 60 hours . Custom CVSTOS screws in grade 5 titanium with gold plated bridges and steel gear train finished on both top & bottom .
