HBCU IMPACT DAY
• We had the Audacity to believe that we could meet and exceed our goal , so we raised $ 3 million in one day for three consecutive HBCU Impact Days .
• We had the Audacity to believe others would follow our lead and contribute , so we raised $ 2 million in one day on the fourth HBCU Impact Day .

• We Believed that EAF was the proper vehicle to disseminate these funds . So , we established 99 endowments at every HBCU and Predominately Black Institution ( PBI ).
• We Believed our efforts should include giving our time as volunteers , alumni chapter members , board members and leaders . So , we did so in record numbers . Alpha Kappa Alpha women lead HBCUs and PBIs .
• We forged a historic Collaboration between our sorority and foundation to plan and execute the endowment campaign .
• We Collaborated as a sisterhood to market and promote HBCUs and our endowment campaign . Our voices included HBCU graduates , graduates of predominately white institutions , our families , our friends , our co-workers .
• Our regions had the Audacity , Belief and Collaborated to raise the following totals for all four HBCU Impact Days .

Perpetuity means continual existence , forever . Thanks to the hard work of our Supreme Basileus , HBCU Taskforce , Regional Directors , EAF Executive Director and staff , other international committees , and YOU , we accomplished our goal to ensure access to higher education forever . However , our work is not done . Like all the endowments established within EAF , you can continue to donate to these funds annually . Those funds may be directed to your school of choice . We have supported HBCUs since our founding with and without targeted initiatives like HBCU4Life . This work will always be part of our service .
