W new clubhouse, the region’ s newest wedding venue. Alpine is a private club offering its clubhouse for events when the snow has melted. Nestled at the foot of the Escarpment in the Blue Mountains, the modest elevation of this newlyconstructed 45,000-sq.-ft. building offers sweeping views of Georgian Bay and the Niagara Escarpment.
Opened in late 2016, the modern building design is a departure from the traditional post and beam construction of most regional venues. Soaring ceilings and fully-windowed walls embrace the beautiful surroundings and offer a sense of bringing the outdoors inside. Light-filled rooms connect seamlessly through interior glass walls, providing almost limitless layouts to accommodate weddings of 50 to hundreds.

The sense of spaciousness offered by the contemporary architecture is kept warm by the colours and materials brought in from the outdoors. A modern take on a wood ceiling, stone cladding on the pillars, carpet emulating slate flooring, and colours derived from nature provide a neutral palette that works with any colour scheme.
A grand terrace with a sunken fire pit spans the full length of the clubhouse, bridging the indoor spaces with a broad expanse of lawn popular with parties wanting to engage in full-sized Jenga and other outdoor entertainment. The terrace is a beautiful location for cocktails or an outdoor service. But if Mother Nature fails to cooperate on the day, it’ s easy to relocate the service indoors. With the variety of indoor spaces, each room can be configured for its own function, eliminating the need to reset.
