for your photographer to take photographs of
the room before guests sit down. If it’s important
that your grandmother feature in many of the
photographs, plan to spend a little extra time with
her when your photographer is around. Most
importantly, make sure to set aside enough time
for your photographer to create some beautiful
couples portraits of the two of you together. My
preferred schedule is to avoid the long cocktail
hour photo shoot, and instead split the day up into
several shorter portrait sessions including a sunset
session. This creates a built in time buffer, and
allows your photographer to get creative with a
variety of lighting and location options throughout
the day.
Your photographer has most likely captured
hundreds of weddings, and will be happy to work
with you to create the best and most beautiful
memories of your wedding day. •
