for your photographer to take photographs of the room before guests sit down. If it’s important that your grandmother feature in many of the photographs, plan to spend a little extra time with her when your photographer is around. Most importantly, make sure to set aside enough time for your photographer to create some beautiful couples portraits of the two of you together. My preferred schedule is to avoid the long cocktail hour photo shoot, and instead split the day up into several shorter portrait sessions including a sunset session. This creates a built in time buffer, and allows your photographer to get creative with a variety of lighting and location options throughout the day. Your photographer has most likely captured hundreds of weddings, and will be happy to work with you to create the best and most beautiful memories of your wedding day. •
