The cliché “After all the Devil tried” why would you say that when the truth is the devil isn’t that powerful and yet as Preachers we give more credit and blame to the devil for our failures, as believers than anyone else I know. It sounds good and makes congregants, feel wonderful when the truth of the matter is the devil is only mentioned in the Bible 49 times out of 66 books in the Bible which is very little. We blame the devil for our finances being bad, our health, our children, etc. We wonder why as Saints of God, we always need an alibi to create a praise break when we know that many times the devil nor enemy has nothing to do with your circumstances but, its mainly you and the decisions you have made over a period of time that have caught up with you.
