Q: Boaz a man of great honor in the Bible is often looked to as perfect man to marry, often hearing women state they are waiting for their Boaz, what are your views on Boaz and what part(s) of his character do you believe women should take into consideration? A: “In regards to women stating they are waiting on their Boaz they may not know what they are really saying. Ruth was poor and she needed to be rescued. Boaz was her redeemer or rescuer. When you say you are waiting on your Boaz you may unintentionally be saying that you are waiting to be rescued. I don’t think a woman should look at marriage from the perspective of being rescued.
