Dear members
Things have been so hectic that I mentioned in my last update that this would be the last for 2021 - forgetting of course it was still only October.
Anyone else find themselves losing track of time recently?
It is really great to see our members, friends and colleagues from the Eastern states emerging from lockdown. As I write this, Victoria is on the eve of ending pretty much all restrictions for the fully vaccinated. This includes public gatherings such as our Events program, so next year should see a return to some sense of normality across the board, but in particular in regard to how we stage our quarterly Events
Great news!
Of course this also bodes well for our National Conference, scheduled for late March 2022.
We already enjoy strong sponsor support for this, our signature event and one of the best Service Management conferences in the world. I am looking forward to seeing you there.
I should also remind you that Award nominations are open and it’s a great opportunity for our member organisations to tell the Service Management community about all the good stuff they are doing in this space. This could be anything from adapting to new ways of working and adopting new support models / vaccine management of staff /
remote employee Onboarding / Machine learning / AI Ops projects or any one of a million other things.
Our Q4 events are now underway, I’m particularly looking forward to the South Australian Branch event where rumours are that there might be a somewhat festive performance put on by the SA Branch Committee which should be fun 😊.
Hopefully there’ll be some photos in the December edition of The Bulletin.
Until then stay safe and enjoy the magazine.
Enjoy your Bulletin
