IT Service Design also can act as a transformational apparatus to balance Return of Investment (ROI) and Value on Investment (VOI) by processing the feedback from the ITIL Continual Service Improvement.  

As mentioned below, there are three major criteria that must be considered while building and running any IT Services.

 

• Create a clearly understandable conceptual design for the service and a basic model that can be modified over time.

• Involve people in the process since a new Service Design frequently represents a different way of thinking for both business and IT, and they need to grasp what is in it for them.

 

• Organizations ought to be exceedingly ambitious when it comes to innovative IT services. These goals should be realistically balanced and supported by the value provided by IT services.
