Hi everyone
These are changing times, and over the last few years, we’ve seen the itSMF switch to more frequent and national virtual events. This momentum will certainly continue, with a monthly cadence of events to bring you the latest insights, developments, and top-notch service management content.
In 2025, we’ve already had some fantastic events, including deep dives on Major Incident and Event Management, focused sessions on predictions for ITSM helping you anticipate what's emerging, and humanizing IT. These sessions have been incredibly informative and engaging, providing valuable knowledge, and networking opportunities for all attendees. We are thrilled to share that we’ve had great attendance at these events, showing the strong interest and commitment of our community!
But a ‘forum’ means that we are a community, and we know that in the past (pre-Covid), you loved the opportunity to network with like-minded colleagues in your state and city. Therefore, the State Branch Chairs are now committed to providing more face-to-face, local events in your state/city. These events will be more focused on interaction, discussion, and general participation of you, the itSMF members. And of course, we’ll include a social aspect, allowing you to catch up with others (often with a drink).
Keep your eye out for future events! Our state branch committees, the State Branch Chairs, and Event Coordinators are working tirelessly to provide you with quality events, and they would certainly appreciate your input and feedback in terms of topics, formats, etc. Your involvement is crucial to the success of these events.
Get involved! Attend, participate, or even volunteer for your local committee. An organization like the itSMF thrives on its volunteers and the enthusiasm of its members. The more you put in, the more you get out.
Enjoy your magazine.
