person ended up engaging in a dangerous lifestyle, made some bad decisions and is behind bars paying the price. That person served my life as
a seasonal relationship in my development and I am grateful. I hope
for them to end up making the best of their situation. But I grieved
for a time and did not understand that they were only in my life for a
season. This person was not in my life for me to hold onto them and
get all attached.

A LIFETIME
Then there are people who came into my life and served as key resources
and wise advice. I consistently go to these people and bounce ideas off of
them. I ask them for advice and can trust that they will direct me to the
place that is in alignment with my life goals. These people only want to
see me flourish and have served as beacons of light for me. I have been
given the gift of having these few lifetime relationships.
