It's Your Future - Digital Education Edition v1 | Page 46

IT’S YOUR FUTURE (and a host of other things) are welcomed by having an unhealthy self worth, and unhealthy habits. People that just wanted to taste the realm of physical intimacy early have found that their experiments were costly. There is plenty of time for you to find your mate (or have your mate find you). THINGS TO ALWAYS REMEMBER: Learn to pursue your passion and develop a skill set that will last a lifetime and open up opportunities for you. I wish I had cultivated my speaking ability earlier in life instead of chasing dead end relationships. I would be much farther along in life by now. Most of the people you hang out with seem like they will be in your life forever. The reality is after you graduate, many of them you will never talk to, hang out with or even remember ever again. So invest your time in building yourself for your future. QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER: • What gift, talent, skill or ability should I be becoming better at right now? • What can I do to increase my value so that my relationships will flourish in the proper season? (i.e. are there good books on becoming a better listener, resolving conflict etc) How can you invest in preparing yourself for. 30
