Election Fallout!
Amidst the Election Night glitch and other discrepancies, the
Election Commission certified results of the October 8th
election. My vote to certify was based on the lack of evidence
supporting impact on the outcome of the election.
There has been a host of Monday morning "quarter backing"
surrounding election results. The one sure fire position that
cannot be over looked is the lack of unity among Democrats
and especially in the Black Community! We have a white

mayor and suddenly there are out pours of demands. One
must wonder why same demands were not present under black mayoral leadership?
Lets move forward and concentrate on results. Let's do our part by coming together
giving our new mayor a chance. We still have the power of the vote if evidence of goodwill does not exist.
Early Voting for the November 19th Run off Election starts October 30th with satellite
sites starting November 6th. These are for district candidates. Vote for persons having the
most direct impact on your neighborhoods. Carefully review the candidates. Don't be
influenced by ads and endorsements. Select the candidate of your choice.
