Defense could be scary good for another year!
No surprise here, we all knew SC was loaded on defense. Question was could they all come together and play as a unit? Looks that way, D-Line is thin but as good as anyone in the nation even without the top NFL pick Leonard Williams. The linebacker core, without Hayes Pullard, has tremendous toughness and speed. The secondary is still searching for consistency from a year ago. Adoree Jackson will be solid, that seems obvious, but who will fill the rest? They will need to grow up fast in order to guard against a pass happy PAC-12. Taking everything into account , USC will be one of the best defensive units in the land.....again!
