my alarm earlier so I have time to get ready. If I
feel like a girl several days in a row, the upkeep
is hard. I need to shave my face, chest and legs
every day, wash my hair and keep my make-up
in place. I feel like I prefer to be female but I’m
much more relaxed in what I look like when I
feel like a man,” said a 22 year old British
student Ryan for the website Mirror *.
Again, we can spot a mix of two traditional man
and woman genders, but one seems to be a boy
today, but may look like a girl tomorrow. When
talking about a gender fluid, we do not take into
consideration neither genitalia nor sexual
orientation.
Androgyne
The concept of third gender is currently
legally accepted in certain societies such as
Bangladesh, Pakistan, the Balkans, India or
Polynesia. An individual is considered neither
man nor woman, but belongs to a separate
group which goes beyond these two gender
identities – third gender. For referring to such a
person should be used gender-neutral pronouns
such as one, ze, sie, hir or ey based on a culture.
The first European country which officially
recognizes babies with ambiguous genitals as a
third gender is Germany. Parents are free to
determine a baby´s gender and will have to wait
till sexual characteristics appear.
This is a non-binary gender identity, straight
opposite to bigender. An individual does not
feel any physical or internal connection with
neither male nor female, which are according to
this gender very limited, he just thinks of
himself as “a human”. Most androgynes look
like a regular man or woman. The only
difference is visible in how they think and
behave, as they seek to free themselves from
societal expectations of how a man or a woman
should act. We can call it universal behavior
suitable for every person, not making
distinctions what is feminine and what
masculine.
Gender fluid
I do not feel like a boy, but I do not feel like
a girl either. What am I? A gender fluid. This
gender identity is very dynamic in its nature.
Third gender
In conclusion, it is important to reckon a
transgender upon feelings on the inside, as it is
not gender that defines you, but your feelings
towards the gender. You can feel male or
female or both and that would be totally fine.
Let’s start accepting the world how it is, and not
how people want it to be.
