At the end of May, Fiera Milano hosted the latest edition of The Innovation Alliance, the trade fair event that brings together, in a single integrated setting, four international exhibitions: GreenPlast, Ipack-Ima, Print4All and Intralogistica Italia. The format made it possible to offer an all-round view of the industrial machinery supply chain serving the manufacturing industry, covering all its facets, from plastics to packaging, printing, converting and logistics. Occupying 11 halls, the event attracted 108,458 visitors and 1,857 exhibitors( including a 39 % international contingent coming from 38 countries, primarily China, Germany, Turkey, France and the Netherlands), as well as, through ICE- Agenzia, Italy’ s agency for foreign trade, more than 500 top foreign buyers( from 75 countries). It provided a unique opportunity to discover the technological excellence of this core segment of Italian industry.
During the press presentation event, the goals of the exhibition were illustrated by Simona Greco, Director of Hosted Exhibitions at Fiera Milano: „ The Innovation Alliance represents a substantial example of how trade fairs, by working together, can generate a value that is greater than the sum of the individual events. Connecting contiguous worlds means building an integrated platform that responds to global challenges more effectively. A fundamental systemic approach for strategic sectors such as those represented at Fiera Milano which, together, are worth over 25 billion euros in Italy, with more than 90 thousand employees and exports that exceed, in some cases, 70 % of production. In this overall vision, innovation finds fertile ground for growth.”
