The Archibiofoam project , which brings together Finland ’ s Aalto University and its spin-off company Woamy , the University of Milan and the University of Stuttgart , has been awarded € 3.5 million under the European EIC Pathfinder Challenges call for the development of an expanded bio-material that can be used in construction as an alternative to cement , steel , and glass .
