GREEN OUTLOOKS The market forecasts are quite clear , concludes Passoni : „ Today everyone talks about green , recycling and second life plastic but in reality scrap and waste have always been used and now they are an important added value , despite the costs that are now higher than those of virgin resins , which anyway are destined to be overtaxed . We are therefore turning the demand to our advantage with an increasingly complete offering in this field . For example , we are very satisfied with the market performance of packaging sheets obtained from recycled PET and also with the sale of machines designed for materials that are difficult to recycle , such as those for the lamination of paper coated with wax or plastic . After participating in the Greenplast exhibition in Milan , the real trial by fire for us will be the K fair in October for checking the market evolution . But I remain optimistic because plastic is not easy to replace and will still have a long life .“ |
