“ They can be employed in various sectors : horizontal belt mixers and continuous truncated cone mixers , identified by our new Helix brand that will bring together all our mixing equipment in a single product family , similarly to the Lince bag splitters . The market feedback was excellent , like the range of established machines that represent our core business : centralised systems with material sorting unit and dryers . We also brought to the fair our ancillary products , including all the touchscreen controls that , in addition to allowing local control as stand-alone units , are also interconnected : through a single PLC server everything can be connected to our Scada process supervision systems for data collection and data logging , from the acceptance of raw materials up to the entry of the processing machine , in order to meet the Industry 4.0 requirements and , at least here in Italy , the need for interfacing with the factory MES system or the ERP systems of various customers , as a result creating a single environment allowing access to Industry 4.0 incentives .” |

POSITIVE RESULTS The year 2022 has closed positively , Pegoraro assured : “ In the spring of 2021 we concluded the long-awaited transfer to a larger site for the benefit of production , which required huge investments in terms of resources and energy . Everything happened in the middle of the working season , not in December or August as is customary in these cases . Despite this , we managed to meet our customers ’ requests , recording a + 105 % increase in turnover at the end of the year , more than double |
compared to 2020 . In addition , the company personnel was strengthened thanks to new hires covering various positions . Our business expansion plan is therefore moving forward , so much so that in 2022 , thanks to the larger space available , we were even able to hire 10 % more professional figures , as a result enhancing the company operations . Our expansion path will continue in 2023 with 15-20 % new hires , given the projects on the launch pad in the new business areas we are focusing |
on . Moreover , I believe that the strengthening of our workforce must always go hand in hand with the company ’ s growth . After such a strong year , therefore , in 2022 we focused on consolidation and we are expecting business results in line with those of 2021 , perhaps with a 5-6 % increase . In any case , we are very satisfied .”
GROWING FURTHER Looking ahead to 2023 , Pegoraro anticipates interesting initiatives and goals : “ We will participate in various fairs , starting from Plast in Milan , as well as in the most important local ones , as always . As for our business , after having listened to our customers and partners – and taking into account the current global crisis and the fact that many operators have adopted a wait-and-see approach pending Italy ’ s new budget law in order to understand the way it will affect current projects and incentives – I believe that 2023 will be a year similar to 2022 for us , possibly recording a turnover growth around 15-20 %. Our expectations remain very positive because , as we operate in several sectors , we notice that some industries show no sign of decline but rather a steady growth .” Obviously , there is no lack of new products in the pipeline , or in an advanced stage of experimentation : “ Every year we offer new innovative solutions and at least two of them will be unveiled at the oncoming Plast show , after the consolidation of the on-going tests at customers ’ sites and various months , if not years , of targeted work .” As a cherry on top , Pegoraro makes the most significant announcement for the company : “ Next summer we will organise a special event in Venice to celebrate our anniversary and two more than positive decades in the business .”
