Robomatix was established in 2025 in Loreggia, in the province of Padua, by Alberto Cattapan and Marco Sabbadin, two entrepreneurs with over fifteen years’ experience in the industrial sector. The company operates in industrial robotics, specialising in production process automation for small and medium-sized manufacturers. In a country with a strong manufacturing vocation like Italy, the demand for highly engineered automated solutions is constantly growing. Robomatix positions itself as a strategic partner for companies seeking to automate manual processes, guaranteeing a return on investment generally within 24 months.
EXPERTISE AND PRODUCTION STRUCTURE The Robomatix team combines technical and commercial experience gained over fifteen years. Cattapan comes from the plastics processing equipment sector, while Sabbadin worked for approximately fifteen years as a technical manager at leading precision machining companies. In 2018, Sabbadin also bought OMD Automation, a company equipped with fifteen CNC machining centres and about ten employees. A new 3,000 sq. m facility was built on a total surface area of 10,000 sq. m, which houses both Robomatix and OMD Automation, enabling the integrated management of the engineering and production phases.
