In times of economic downturn such as the one we are currently experiencing, companies find it increasingly difficult to maintain their market position, let alone grow it. Alfatech, however, is pursuing this effort with a forward-looking vision, investing at both the structural and organisational levels, as well as in Research and Development( R & D).
EXPANSION OF THE HEADQUARTERS Regarding this first aspect, Alfatech is expanding its headquarters, doubling both its production site and administrative offices. All with the utmost attention to employee care and safety, whilst also providing suitable break areas and a new in-house canteen. This focus extends to the environment as well: the existing photo-

voltaic system has been upgraded with additional solar panels alongside the original 150 kW installation, enabling full energy self-sufficiency. The photo here shows the historic company site and its subsequent development( 1990 – 2026). This has resulted in a better layout of the internal spaces, while enhancing the functionality of areas such as: administration, production, warehouse, loading and unloading, etc.
INVESTMENTS IN RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT With respect to the second aspect, relating to the R & D area, two distinct but parallel paths have been undertaken:
• Ongoing technological innovation of standard products.

The performance of the automatic mesh filter has been optimised, increasing the production rate to 8,000 Kg / hour. The existing gear pumps have also been redesigned to meet the latest customer requirements, notably with an enlarged inlet section for use in systems located beneath the reactor. And here is the new AVX, joining the AT and AH series. |

• New design studies on the circular economy of plastic materials. Thanks to in-house laboratory, Alfatech will be able to develop new recycling technologies, transforming industrial waste into fully reusable materials. Alfatech has been active in this field since 2013, when it began manufacturing automatic continuous-flow filter changers. However, given the significance of this issue and the increasing awareness around it, the company is working to further specialise in this area. This is also made possible by working with customers who not only use products but also provide new ideas future developments.
Alfatech will be taking part in Plast 2026, from 9 to 12 June 2026, at Hall 15, Stand B61, where staff will be available to share insights on the latest challenges in this ever-evolving market.
