Years of work in this specific field have given us a competitive advantage that is recognized every time we install a new line”.
SERVICE, SPARE PARTS, AND INDUSTRY 4.0 The in-house manufacturing of all major components is not only a quality choice: it also translates directly into fast response times in the event of maintenance interventions. Comac keeps a complete stock of mechanical and electrical spare parts, minimizing downtime. This commitment became even more effective after the move to the new production facility, which expanded storage capacity and freed up space at the former site for new uses. Each machine is equipped with a remote assistance module, allowing Comac technicians to

connect directly to customer plants for diagnostics and— whenever possible— remote troubleshooting. This is complemented by Industry 4.0 connectivity: Comac lines can interface with customers’ management systems, exchanging real-time process data.“ Data has become a strategic resource for every company”, Pellegrini observes.“ The ability to record it automatically, with maximum scope and precision, is a demand that has become increasingly pressing over time, and we have responded accordingly”.
THE NEW FACILITY AND TECHNOLOGY CENTER The latest chapter in Comac’ s history is its new production facility, operational since 2021. The investment was made necessary by the company’ s growth and enabled part of the machinery

fleet to be renewed in order to maintain the highest possible levels of competitiveness. The former production building is now being transformed into a technology center dedicated to testing: lines permanently available for trials on materials, formulations, and technologies, allowing customers to evaluate solutions before making purchasing decisions. A service that previously could not be offered due to lack of space, and which now represents an additional differentiating factor.“ Being able to provide customers with trial plants where they can test their own materials or explore alternative technologies is something highly appreciated”, Pellegrini concludes.“ It completes the path we offer: from initial consulting, to testing, to line supply, and finally long-term assistance”. |
