Specialising in the design and production of special equipment and plants for storage , transportation and mixing for numerous industrial sectors , Beccaria has a strong presence in the field of plastics plants . The Piedmont-based company has recently implemented significant changes to its organisational structure . The first regards the expansion of its historic production facility in Scarnafigi ( near Cuneo ). “ Currently ,“ explains sales manager Davide Pagliero , „ we are concluding a project that was launched at the beginning of this year involving the expansion of two of our three warehouses . There are two main reasons for this expansion . First of all , the company has always focused significantly on investments , especially in production equipment ; secondly , the increase in work activity and the need to adapt to the size and type of the machines we work with . The size and type of machines involved in our production processes made it necessary to expand our operations with the first significant infrastructural project in almost twenty years . The company started out as a small shed and has gone through several phases of growth to its current configuration . The last expansion dates back to a few years ago , when we built a tower to contain the silos and vertical mixers , while in 2019 , we invested in the complete renovation of the office area .” The current expansion project is focused primarily on increasing storage space for the materials produced in-house . This is due to the evolution of the sector , particularly in the field of plastics and recycling , which now need larger machines such as vertical mixers and pre-assembled structures that require additional space for testing and inspection . This expansion also involved the hiring of new staff in both production and the engineering departments . It is not a question of replacing existing staff , but of adding new ones with the aim of further developing the company ‘ s capabilities and responding to the growing market needs .
