ITALY IS DOING WELL , POSITIVE OUTLOOK IN THE US “ In this context , Italy has done very well , along with Europe , which in general has driven a sizeable market recovery . In addition , the US market is also posting excellent results thanks to Pegaso ’ s own branch in Atlanta which was opened in 2019 ” says Franco Crivellari , sales manager of Plastic Systems . “ We therefore expect a 2022 with a major

growth in our continent , as well as a real boom in the US market . As regards the Far East , China and South East Asia are also doing well , with excellent prospects .”
PACKAGING , COMPOUNDS , RECYCLING Switching to the technological and production side of things , 2021 was a very satisfactory year for Pegaso Industries , thanks also to the rebound of the automotive industry . At present , one of the most lively sectors is that of packaging , both flexible and rigid , followed by compounds ( which has always been central for the operations of the Paduan holding company ) and recycling , which are recording growing sales .

This is a growing business sector , therefore , for the Paduan group in terms of turnover .
INCREASE IN ORDERS “ In terms of product development , this year we had to slow down our schedule for the completion of our range of products , because of the increase in orders that forced us to distract resources form other operations , including R & D . We are still completing our range of gravimetric blenders with a large size model , in order to enter the extrusion market , and with a small model intended for injection moulding machines producing small pieces ” Crivellari continues . “ Sticking to blenders , we are perfecting our
