Since the end of last year , Poliblend has become part of Ascend , combining its experience in the production of polyamide 6 with the know-how it has acquired from the US group for the mass production of virgin and recycled PA 6.6 .

The company ’ s fast industrial growth led , in 2003 , to it moving to its current headquarters in Mozzate ( near Como ), where today about a hundred employees make more than 50,000 tons of material annually , generating revenues of about 120 million euro . Global purchases of targeted raw materials , a wide production range , availability , flexibility and quick service , combined with qualified advicing and / after-sale technical support , research and development in the field of new compounds , are the strengths that characterize Poliblend by Ascend , which last year became part of the Ascend Group , a global manufacturer of materials based on PA 6.6 , headquartered in Houston , Texas . With its 3,500 employees , various production facilities and offices in Asia , Europe and North America , the US group has been able to extend its range with this acquisition , thus offering customers a wider choice of quality , high performance materials on a global scale .
