Operating for over 85 years , founded by the Canziani family , with production premises in Torba di Gornate Olona ( near Varese ), Presma designs and manufactures highly customized special solutions for the injection moulding of thermoplastics and , since 2009 , also offers injection moulding machines for rubber and silicone . The international success achieved over the years by the company lies in the quality of its production - totally made in Italy - of presses and systems designed in detail according to the customers ’ requests and operating needs , available in diversified configurations ( rotary , horizontal , vertical , multiple-injection ) for the target application sectors . This includes special machine models for markets such as thermoplastic caps for bottles ( syntehic cork ), household appliances with the overmoulding of fittings on pipes , urban design with recycled PVC pedestal blocks , as well as cleaning tools and accessories with multi-colour or multi-material handgrips .
The constant search for truly “ special ” solutions is clearly announced in the headline of the logo : “ Non Standard Technology ”. The range of machines in the company catalogue is wide : special injection moulding machines for compact , semi-foamed , bi-component , gas-assisted and recycled thermoplastic materials ; over 100 models with clamping forces from 60 to 6,000 kN , platens up to 1,860 × 1,860 mm in size , versions with modular clamping units with 1 , 2 or 3 stations and rotary from 2 to 18 stations ; horizontal or vertical mould opening with sliding lower mould half ; injection units with punching or transfer screws ( screw + piston ), multi-colour or bi-component heads ; production cells composed of several presses equipped with anthropomorphic robots for multi-colour items ; vertical presses with sliding or rotary table with two lower mould halves . “ The markets where we have been operating for several years ”, explains Franco Canziani , sales manager at Presma , “ are giving
