The BDOx2 continuous-flow hydraulic screen changer

AUTOMATIC CYCLE , SELF-CLEANING FILTER We are talking about an innovative continuous screen changer that ushered in a new era in the history of automatic cycle filtration . Patented last November for the Italian market and pending approval in several European countries as well as in the United States , the CleanChanger is a selfcleaning machine , implementing a sequence of steps totally managed by an NC system equipped with a touch-screen panel available in different sizes , which allows the system to work unattended and without breaks . Suitable for the intensive production of quality recycled plastics ,

compounds , flat and hollow sheets , pipes and profiles , mono and multi filaments , masterbatch , as well as adhesives and glues , the CleanChanger features a high-efficiency backwashing system for the screens that makes it possible to reach up to 300 cycles ensuring maximum efficiency and cost effectiveness . At the end of the cycle , or even with the extruder running at its maximum flow rate , it is possible to replace the filtering elements through the totally automated extraction of the three breaker plates , thus ensuring process flow continuity and allowing optimal integration into extrusion lines of any type . “ We noticed that , compared to other machines , our CleanChanger is a system that pays for itself , in the sense that other types of systems involve screen consumption costs of the order of tens of thousands of euros per year while our solution drastically reduces screen costs since the use of the screen is optimised in such a way as to considerably increase its operational life before replacement ” Boicelli added . “ This screen changer is part of a wide product portfolio , ranging from the simple lever filter worth a few thousand euros , designed for extrusion lines that do not require continuous operation and run at comparatively low flow rates , up to self-cleaning mechatronic machines such as the CleanChanger , which is also equipped with network connections for remote access by our engineers in order to adjust the machine parameters in real time .”
APPOINTMENT AT PLAST , MILAN BD Plast will take part in the next edition of Plast – the International Exhibition for the Plastics and Rubber Industry , scheduled from 5 to 8 September 2023 at the Fiera Milano-Rho exhibition centre – where the company will announce a new patent for the CleanChanger . It will be also exhibiting the innovative BDOx2 continuous-flow screen changer , now well known among customers , which over time has undergone constant improvements .
