GROWING ORDERS In view of the more than positive market developments , we asked the current COO , Matteo Prinzo , who represents the third generation of the owner family , to comment on the current business situation : “ Our order book is quite full , and the same is happening to many other manufacturers . This is the reason why we are trying to expand our business in various strategic directions , starting from sales and machining operations , with the aim of producing all the necessary components in-house on our new machine tools . This is the the biggest challenge , since first of all it is not easy to find qualified operators although , fortunately , at least a couple of them might join us soon . We have also started to implement the potential of Principe Evo for about one year , mainly of the software , an aspect that is already well defined : so everything has been now optimised , also because we never encountered problems on the machining side of things . Another point on which we intend to focus our attention is all-round customer support , which in our opinion represents 50 % of the work in this sector , from spare parts to plant engineering . So far , customer support has been manageable for us as a small enterprise but its complexity increases as our size and figures grow and , maybe , some customers will have to be supported from a greater distance .”
