That starts with Elijah Green, Shane Porter and Alton McCaskill joining from power-four programs. Green joins from Indiana, where he was a part of a Hooiser squad that made the College Football Playoff. Before that, he was at North Carolina with Mack Brown, where he had a handful of carries.
Porter is the guy who brings the most experience after playing last season in Denton. Porter started 10 games, played in all 12, and rushed for 648 yards with the Mean Green.
McCaskill was the American Athletic Conference second team as a freshman at the University of Houston. After his breakout year, he was injured and has bounced around and not found a groove. If the Bearkats can get him back to that state after getting minimal carries in the past three years, this room could find a lot of success.
Longo has long been known as an air-raid offense, but that could be misleading, as his 2014 Bearkat team had 3,866 yards on the ground. But he does like to throw the ball. The Bearkats brought back Qua’ Vez Humphreys and Michael
