Storage media
“Storage media” are devices that store created data and files, and are also
called “auxiliary storage devices.”
The data stored on storage media is retained after the power is turned off,
making it possible to carry the data around and distribute it. Storage media
also have a large storage capacity, and can be used to save data and programs.
