The MyFord Mobile app will be available for all Ford plug-in electric vehicles and allows consumers to manage vehicle functions with their Android device. This will work in tandem with MyFordMobile.com to give access to customers in the method which works best for their lifestyles.

The MyFord Mobile app allows consumers to:

-View the current state of charge

-Commence charging

-Precondition the vehicle cabin temperature by setting ‘GO Times’

-Value Charge by charging the vehicle when utilities offer the cheapest rate for electricity

-Plan trips

-Find charge stations

-Share driving accomplishments to Facebook, Twitter and Email

Consumers will initially receive MyFord Mobile free of charge at purchase and for a fee after the initial subscription subsides.

The Ford Focus Electric will glide silently into showrooms in the second half of 2012, with MyFord Mobile to appear in app stores at the same time.

Apple introduced new iMac and MacBook Pro, but if you need something smaller, then the updated Mac Mini might be just what you need.

Mac Mini has been updated, and now it runs on Intel’s 3rd generation dual-core Core i5 and quad-core Core i7 Ivy Bridge processors, and these processors are twice faster than the ones used in older Mac Minis.

Speaking of improvements, there’s new integrated graphics that is up to 65 percent faster. Additional specs include 4GB RAM that is upgradable up to 16GB, and Intel HD Graphics 4000. Core i5 2.3Ghz model comes with 500GB hard drive, while the quad-core Core i7 model uses 1TB hard drive, but you can upgrade with 256GB SSD or 1TB Fusion Drive.

Additional features include Mini DisplayPort output, HDMI output, Thunderbolt port, four USB 3.0 ports, FireWire 800 port, and SDXC card slot. As for connectivity, new Mac Mini supports Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11n.

As for pricing, Core i5 2.3Ghz model is priced at $599, while quad-core Core i7 model costs $799.
