Meet the
students
Abby Taylor has previously traveled with Defiance College to Paris and Cambodia. Taylor is currently in pursuit of Accounting and Global Studies majors at Defiance College. She is co-President of the Honors Program and looking forward to her Honors research in Italy.
Kim Maro has traveled to five countries, three as a student ambassador of People to People with over 40 other ambassadors and leaders, and two countries with family. Kim was also editor-in-chief of her high school newspaper at Tunkhannock Area High School in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania.
Lynn Beining has travelled internationally three times. Each time she travels something interesting happens to her. She calls it a “family tradition”. In France an ATM machine ate her debit card and she was forced to survive on less than 50 euros. This trip she plans on breaking the family tradition, but if she doesn’t you can be sure to read about it!
Kim is studying history education at Defiance College, is an avid member of the Honors Program and Service Leaders, as well as a varsity lettered javelin thrower for the track and field team.
