Italian Americans Come
Together for Springtime
in New Orleans
Italian Americans in New Orleans had a jampacked spring season filled
with events that ranged from the exciting to the somber. After Mardi
Gras, the city celebrated St. Joseph’s Day, which Italian Americans spent
attending parades and St. Joseph’s Altars at churches, schools, and family
homes across the region. The Sansepolcro Flag Throwers also visited and
helped the AICC present the World Premiere of
The Monumental Journey. Finally, in April,
