TV Channel Recommendation: National Geographic
Channel
Description: The National Geographical Channel
includes lots of different programmes which
introduce global, environmental and scientific
topics. These programmes explore wild animals,
travelling, and the cultural and ethical ways of life. It
is a channel that is suitable for an audience who are
interested in or have studied geography. However,
even those who are not interested in geography, like
myself, can still enjoy this channel as there are many
interesting facts about the environment that are
included. This might surprise you as the natural
world is far from boring!
Learning interesting facts about the world is easy
with this channel. You'll learn lots of funny and
amazing things about the ecosystem - it becomes
seriously addictive! For example, there are some
fascinating programmes like 'Mega Factories' and
'Cosmos: A Space Time Odyssey'. Whether you are a
student or a teacher, you will love this channel.
TV Programme Recommendation: One of the
programmes I would like to recommend is called
'Mega Factories'. This programme records the
internal management, operations, activities and the
processing system of factories worldwide. Every
episode of the program is about a different
electronic device or a product's manufacturing
process such as the car.
The episode that I watched was about the
manufacturing process of a LFA car and I found it
very informative. In fact, I had no idea how a car was
manufactured so it was very interesting to to learn
something about an area that I had no idea about
before. I was also very surprised that I could learn all
this through a TV programme!
The reason I recommend this program is because it
specifically targets an electronic product in each
episode and really helps the audience to understand
the product in such a way that they won’t get
confused with all the different processes involved.
The programme is engaging and easy to follow and
you really feel like you have learnt something after
watching it.
