Music Education at EdUHK
Tam Sheung Pan shares his experience of studying at
EdUHK and how it has brought him both passion and
inspiration.
Under the bright sunshine, a little bird took flight into the sky.
I have already been studying for 4 years at EdUHK and now want to share my
experience with others. Studying at the Education University of Hong Kong has
been a great experience and I've been fortunate enough to be taught by some
great teachers. The experience has provided me with a lot of opportunities and
has let me soar with my own strength. The teachers not only gave me knowledge
but also give me guidance with important life decisions. Above all, they are
genuine and kind and I am extremely grateful to have met them.
I am very thankful and lucky to have had a chance to study my lifelong passion –
Music. As a music major, I particularly enjoy every chance I get to perform with my
friends. I have been performing for 4 years and every time I sing “In Praise of
Teachers”, it touches me. Music is the fruit of life and it enriches my life and my
studies. Studying music with like-minded people is the best thing that ever
happened to me. They are my teammates, my inspiration and my companions.
The teachers here have equipped me to be a passionate teacher myself and most
importantly, a better person. Learning to be a teacher is not easy and I see the
passion in what they do which has encouraged me to become a determined and
inspiring music teacher in the future.
Singing with our voices, playing music with our hearts, using our own life
passions to influence and impact future generations - this is our job.

a message for them: Education
is a life-long career and I
promise you will see me soar
