Learn a bit more about Ukraine
with Bogdana Filonich
In this cultural workshop, the students were first
shown a presentation to enrich their knowledge of
Ukraine. Here, they learnt about culture, traditions
and some customs relating to the Eastern
European country.
After that they were given a food quiz, asked to
complete a crossword and were even lucky
enough to learn some Ukrainian!
Book Club with Lola Kapriš
In this month's Book Club, the students studied
American classic Little Women by Louisa May
Alcott.
After reading through a few chapters, the
students looked at new vocabulary, plot
structure, characters and themes within the book.
