Flags Around the World
with Sarah Wisbey
In this workshop, the students were tested on their
knowledge of flags around the world. Each
student was given a different flag to pin onto a
world map before giving a short presentation
about that country.
They then participated in a group discussion
about the meaning and importance of flags before
getting the opportunity to design their own flag for
HKIEd.
Learn a Little About Poland
with Wiktoria Bartusik
The students learnt about Polish culture, customs
and traditions before attempting some Polish
phrases! They then took part in a series of
games where their knowledge of the country was
tested.
They were also given the opportunity to create a
mini Polish cook book for them to take home and
try themselves!
