If you love sweet food, desserts from the
Palace of the Lost City hotel may be your new
go-to! Sipping a cup of South Africa’s national
red tea, I tried a slice of purple cake which was
made from blueberries sauce. Its freshness left
a very pleasant aftertaste. The cake that I loved
most was the one with a piece of dark
chocolate biscuit on top where there was the
logo of the hotel. Beneath the biscuit, it was a
thick layer of Tiramisu Mousse followed by a
muffin cookie and a slice of chocolate cake with
crushed almonds. It has become my all-time
favourite when it comes to desserts!
After eating that much, it was time to burn the energy! I took a walk to the Cape of Good Hope which
has been commonly misunderstood as the southernmost tip of Africa. I was blown away by this area of
outstanding scenic beauty!
