INSPIRATIONAL
TALES
a project called: “Factors Affecting
Parents’ Choices of Early Childhood
Education in Hong Kong”, in which I
discussed the functions of different
stakeholders
in
improving
early
childhood education, performed a
literature review from leading journals
and education databases to identify the
dependent and independent variables,
designed a questionnaire and collected
200 responses where I used binary
logistic regression to analyse the data
and completed the research paper which
can
deepen
one’s
personal
understanding of the topic. Since these
research
projects
are
completed
independently, they can perfectly reflect
my
independence.
Besides,
my
outstanding work can also suggest my
adaptation. Whether be it in Hong Kong
or Mainland China, I am generally
flexible and could quickly adapt myself
to new environments. Moreover, I have
also single-handedly delivered the
projects of “A Case Study of Social Service
Management of NGOs: From the
Perspective of NGO’s Volunteers” as well as
that of “Study Investigating the impact of
IT Magazine / February Issue
Conference Topics on Foreign Policy
between China and Japan”. I went over
an extensive range of literature during
these projects and carried out a
literature review, data collection and
analysis, and activity organisation.
Through these research experiences, on
the one hand, I have familiarized myself
with different theories and policies in
the literature. On the other hand, I
practiced my skills in data collection and
statistical
data
analysis
with
computerised tools. I believe such
research
experiences
not
only
broadened my knowledge in education
and policy and improved my practical
skills in statistical data analysis, but also
