Looking Back and Moving Forward

When I look back on this fateful beach day in Sai Kung, it feels so far away. The past
month has been extremely unpredictable, and I am reminded how fleeting, ephemeral
these kinds of moments are. Just like the waves that ebb and erase the shore, the
footsteps my friends and I made that day are washed away — our presence made
unknown. But I also think that is why these memories are so precious and magical
because these moments do not last. While I cherish the times when I could roam around
Hong Kong freely and aimlessly, I know that I want to keep moving forward, to find new
opportunities to continue experiencing these kinds of moments, no matter the
circumstances.
