TRAVEL TALES Overcoming The Fear Of Death An article by : LUK , Holan Sometimes, I deeply feel that death is so close to us. After receiving an invitation from Anabuki College in October, I had the opportunity to visit the Elders Home and Career Training School of the Anabuki Group in Takamatsu, Japan. As an educator, I constantly reflect on my mission of living up to my values and helping others live up to theirs. I was impressed by a group of young students who were willing to choose this caregiving career and devote their time and effort to assist the elders. I felt that I could also inspire younger generations to care of people in need, especially the elders in our society. 37
